Delete your account
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data directly from within The Observatory: Daily Word app.

Open The Observatory: Daily Word on your device.

Tap the Profile icon in the bottom navigation bar.

Go to Settings.

Tap Account, then select Delete account.

Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Deleted immediately

Your account credentials (email address, display name)
- ✓
Your word library and personal catalogs
- ✓
Your streaks, points, and challenge history
- ✓
Your notification preferences and app settings
- ✓
Your push notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging)
- ✓
Your selected characters and unlocked items
Retained after deletion
Aggregated analytics data
Anonymous, non-identifiable usage statistics collected by Firebase Analytics may be retained for up to 14 months as required by Google's standard data retention policy. This data cannot be linked back to you.
Legal or compliance records
If required by applicable law, certain records may be retained for the legally mandated period.
