By downloading, installing, or using Daily Word ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. Description of the Service
Daily Word is a vocabulary-learning mobile application that delivers one curated word per day — in English or Spanish — along with its definition, etymology, and usage examples. The App also includes daily challenges, a personal word library, collectible characters, orbit crystals, and an Orbit Store.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Daily Word. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
4. Account Registration
To access personalized features you must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
5. Advertising
Daily Word is free to download and use. The App displays advertisements provided by third-party ad networks (such as Google AdMob). These networks may use device identifiers and usage data to show relevant ads. You can review Google's privacy practices at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
6. Virtual Currency and In-App Items
Daily Word includes a points system and orbit crystals that can be earned through normal gameplay. These virtual items have no real-world monetary value, cannot be transferred between accounts, and are not redeemable for cash. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or remove virtual items at any time.
7. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App
- Use automated tools to collect words or data from the App
- Create multiple accounts to gain an unfair advantage
8. Intellectual Property
All content in Daily Word — including word definitions, illustrations, characters, and the observatory theme — is owned by or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that the word content will be suitable for every audience or purpose.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Daily Word and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by email.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Mexico, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
